Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify construction materials to ensure compliance with approved project specifications.
• Review Material Submittals, Material Approval Requests (MAR), and technical documents.
• Coordinate with approved laboratories for material sampling and testing.
• Conduct and monitor tests for soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, cement, and other construction materials.
• Review laboratory test results and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Perform field density, compaction, concrete, asphalt, and other required field tests.
• Review and approve mix designs in coordination with consultants, laboratories, and contractors.
• Ensure materials are properly stored, handled, and protected at the construction site.
• Inspect incoming materials and verify test certificates, compliance certificates, and material specifications.
• Maintain records of material inspections, test results, approvals, and laboratory reports.
• Identify non-conforming materials and coordinate corrective or rejection procedures.
• Monitor the quality of materials used in construction and ensure traceability.
